Every company has a story. The WHALE story began with a simple question: Why do people learn but fail to apply?
A Question That Changed The Course
In 2015, we noticed a massive gap in the Egyptian and Arab labor market. Hundreds and thousands of people interested in human resources attend intensive training courses, memorize theories by heart, but when faced with a real work environment, they fail to apply what they've learned.
The problem wasn't their abilities; it was how knowledge was transferred. Training focused on the "what" and ignored the "how." From here, we realized the market didn't need just another "training center." The market needed an entity that builds "practical experience."
When The Vision Became Clear
The solution was to create a true simulation of the work environment. We developed our proprietary methodology (WPES - WHALE Practical Experience System). Classrooms were no longer places for lecturing; they became workshops, case studies, and simulations of real situations HR managers face daily.
Our vision was clear: If you want to build human capital, you must make them practice their role before they take it on. The HR General Diploma was our gateway to introducing this methodology, and it quickly became our flagship and most demanded program.
The Ecosystem Takes Shape
Over time, as hundreds of trainees graduated equipped with practical experience, companies noticed the difference. They began asking us to nominate our graduates to work for them. This is how Linkura, our active recruitment arm, was born.
It didn't stop at recruitment. Companies that hired our graduates wanted us to help them build their entire HR systems, so we established our Consulting division. To ensure the sustainability and efficient management of these systems, we developed WHALE OS, our technology arm.
Thus, the circle was complete. We were no longer offering a single service. We became a comprehensive ecosystem taking care of everything related to human capital.
